Paramount Hospitality Announces the Opening of Avanti Palms Resort
Paramount Hospitality Management has announced the opening of the Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center. Located on 6515 International Drive Orlando, FL 32819, the hotel is in the center of the renewed development on the north side of the famous tourist corridor.
Avanti Palms Resort & Conference Center, managed by Paramount Hospitality, offers 652 remodeled guestrooms and more than 20-thousand square feet of meeting and event space. On-site amenities include a 24-hour fitness center, access to high-speed Internet, and an outdoor pool area with music, fountains, kid’s water playscapes, and hot tub. The renovated resort also houses a business center and a lobby redesigned to transport guests into a vibrant and stylish atmosphere with new furnishings, flooring and lighting. Just minutes from Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, Volcano Bay, and SeaWorld, Avanti Palms offers shuttle services so guests won’t miss a beat when it comes to exploring the very best of Orlando.
Formerly known as International Palms, the newly renovated Avanti Palms is part of the 2-billion-dollar development happening throughout the entire I-Drive corridor. The Palms falls in line with Orange County’s 2040 Vision Plan for International Drive with goals to maintain I-Drive as the world’s premier global destination for tourism and family entertainment. “We saw so much potential in this property and how it could bring the right touch to the north side of the tourist corridor.” said Rod O’Connor, General Manager of Avanti Palms.
With more than 100 new jobs created, the positive economic impact of the property is expected to act as a catalyst for other surrounding properties to enhance the visitor and resident experience on North I-Drive. “This is an exciting time for growth in Orlando. Now with Avanti Palms and other major projects going up in the area, we’re doing everything we can to ensure Orlando continues to be a top travel destination.” said PHM President Marco A. Manzie. “Soon the world’s tallest rollercoaster will be a few blocks away, along with more retail and dining space so we’re excited to lead the charge in the rebirth of this area.”
